Giannis is a two-time MVP (unofficially) and he can’t win the title this year. Milwaukee had an incredible 56-win regular season on the shoulders of the Freak and absolutely crushed their competition on the way there.
However, they were never going to win the title. Had this blog existed before the world ended, readers would have been well prepared for this moment. Admittedly, before the season this actor picked the Philadelphia 76ers to come out of the East. Nailed it.
It was never about Philly, though. It was always about Giannis Antentokounmpo not being able to shoot and not having a second option. Khris Middleton had an excellent Game 4 versus Miami but he has never shown the ability to be that guy consistently.
My money was literally always on the Raptors or Heat to come out of the East.
