For anyone who suffers from TLDR syndrome, this is a post for you.
- Tua Tagovailoa threw for six touchdowns and 469 yards. Most importantly, he did it in an astounding come-from-behind victory down 21 points in the 4th quarter on the road in Baltimore. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle obviously help, but this is an alert to the rest of the league.
- Speaking of a young QB looking good in a victory, Trevor Lawrence played his best game from start to finish of his career in a 24-0 shutout victory over the Colts. Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson came in with a perfectly executed game plan of quick-decision passes from Lawrence.
- Speaking of the Jaguars, remember Urban Meyer? The Denver Broncos have put themselves in a similar mess by hiring Nathaniel Hackett as their head coach. Despite winning today, he has shown to be inept and incompetent. The home Broncos crowd counted down the play clock for him. Embarrassing.
- The defending AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals are 0-2 after losing to teams with Mitch Trubisky and Cooper Rush as their QBs. This is something I felt coming, illustrated here from the voice over project I released before the season:
- Kyler Murray and this entire Arizona Cardinals regime were on life support down 20-0 early on and 23-7 in the 4th quarter against the Raiders in Las Vegas. Then, Murray pulled out the AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators, ya know, the electric paddle thingys on hospital TV shows) and sparked his team back to life. He completed wild throws, seemingly was given second chances on every 4th down attempt, and even converted a 2-point conversion which took 20.8 seconds after the ball was snapped. Not to mention, Byron Murphy Jr. ran back a fumble 59 yards to win the game in OT for Arizona.
